Prunus Shirofugen is a small, wide tree with large double white flowers, it is one of the latest of the Japanese Cherry to flower. The flower buds begin pink, turning white as they develop. The tree forms a pleasant broad canopy, making this variety especially popular for medium sized gardens. The foliage is bronze in spring, turning green in summer.
